| My Life's Purpose?

I have been wondering about my destiny. I have now started learning to trade options and intend to master it. Although I am highly analytical and very intelligent, I am not finding this easy to "see." I have not found prosperity in my life, but believe this is the vehicle. Is the fact that I am having trouble "seeing" how to make the money the block that has kept me from prosperity? How can I unplug it? I am open and ready to claim this for myself. I believe this is my lifepath. And I am excited. I am ready to do whatever is necessary to unblock whatever is stopping me. Any tips or strategies?

Hello Alexandra,
Perhaps the reason you are having a hard time "seeing it" is because you have blocks against what you believe financial prosperity will bring to your life. Not the good things that it will bring, but the other stuff that you suspect will happen. I'm talking about all the subconscious stuff that you have committed yourself to enduring and which lack of financial means provides you the excuse for remaining in that situation. You need your financial difficulties until you have found a way through your emotional ambivalence about these situations.
If this is your situation, you have a lot of company. I wish that I had an easy answer for you, but there is none that I know of. Yes, there are simple answers that might bring you prosperity, but they are not easy. They may not even be what is best for you. I think you need to examine what you think you would do if you had all the money you desire. Then ask yourself who would be hurt if you did that. That may well be the reason why you have blocked yourself from prosperity. You value yourself as a kind, ethical person more than you value the trinkets that financial prosperity can bring you. You may need the excuse of financial hardship to permit yourself to remain in difficult relationships that you need for other reasons.
There could be other reasons for financial lack as well; if you wish we can discuss them further.

Last Resort Lottery
Dear Autumn,
I have been on disability for the past 9 years, and it doesn't appear that I will be well enough to go back to work for a long time, if ever. I need some treatments that would at least make it easier (less painful) for me. I just don't have the money for them. I occasionally buy a lottery ticket for the chance to get the money I need. Do you feel that this will ever happen? If not, do you have any other suggestions?

You have my compassion for your situation. I would like to suggest that, rather than waiting for the lottery to supply your needs, you could locate people who are able to provide the treatments and request a barter arrangement. They would provide the treatments and you would provide some service or other item that they need. Please don't dismiss this idea before you try. I suggest that you pray about it first and invoke the Divine in this process. You may have friends who have something that is needed by the treatment provider and you might be able to work out something like a three way trade. Lots of people are able to get what they need, even though they don't have the money. You will be helped to obtain your needs when you actually take action and commit to obtaining greater well-being in your life.
